The tuition fee is nonrefundable.
Yes, we will provide sewing machines for you to use. However, you are encouraged to bring your own sewing machine if you prefer. The tuition fee remains the same regardless.

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own snacks to the class.
For those with little or no experience with a sewing machine, we require that you take the Introduction Class. This class covers the basics of the sewing machine, sewing tools, different stitch settings, fabric types, and seam allowances.
We will open a new season of sewing classes in the Fall of 2024.

Simply click the “reserve” button next to your preferred class, fill out the form, and send it to us. We will then contact you shortly with spot confirmation.
Once your spot is confirmed, you must provide the full class payment via e-transfer to silkwaystitching@gmail.com, or physically in the shop within 2 days. Please note that fees are nonrefundable.

Available this fall – 8 Sewing classes for 9- 13-year-olds – $640.00 plus tax
Students will learn all about the sewing machine and will practise how to make a bobbin and thread it. We will be using basic stitching including some hand sewing. Students will learn different sewing techniques such as Measuring, Straight cutting, Pattern tracing, French seam, how to insert an Elastic, Zipper and Stuffing. Students will experience how to use interfacing and add a Pocket to the project. Finishing each class with a completed project.

Our studio is by appointment only. The boutique will be reserved for you and your guests during the scheduled time. First appointments are 60 minutes and a Stylist will work with you one-on-one to refine your look.
Perfect Wardrobe “Students will learn how to create your perfect dress and pans for them self.
WE will learn about the fabrics composition, how to choose the right fabrics for the project, build the patterns, cutting skill, sewing technology and sewing trick, right fitting and after the program, Students will be able to do the own project and provide the alteration and repair services for them self.
